SWANSEA TOTAL FOCUS WEEK
A multi-agency Total Focus Week campaign will bring together partner agencies of Welsh Government funded initiative, Fly-tipping Action Wales to tackle fly-tipping in the county. Latest figures show that 41,750 cases were recorded across Wales (01 April 2009 – end March 2010) costing Welsh tax payers more than £2 million to clean up.

RHONDDA CYNON TAF TOTAL FOCUS REPORT
Council Enforcement Officers carried out patrols of the Taff Trail on their bikes, noting any litter or fly-tipping. Regular patrols are carried out by the officers and PCSO’s to monitor the trail.

Fly-tipping Action Wales - Annual Report 2010/11
I am delighted that Fly Tipping Action Wales’ (FtAW) Annual Report for 2010/11 continues to show the concerted action being taken by FtAW and it’s partners is having a positive impact in ensuring that communities and areas across Wales are benefitting from a significant reduction in the blight of fly-tipping. Thankfully incidents continue to decline but there is still work to be done and FtAW will continue to develop initiatives to make Wales a green and pleasant place to live and visit.
